Winter Solstice 2021: How the Spring/Summer 2021 Dior campaign evokes the spirit of the winter solstice

The Spring/Summer 2021 Christian Dior collection so clearly evoked the Renaissance era art of Caravaggio and the chiascurro technique of using light and dark in painting. You know by now that I love to mix art and astrology – and when I saw this campaign earlier this year the first thing I thought of was Winter Solstice. I knew it would be perfect for the first day of winter, when we more dark than light. Dior’s approach to the campaign was SO creative and really inspired me.
